Fiction for adults

After writing stories for kids for a while, it's refreshing to write something for adults. These are just pages from writing exercises or works in progress.

Regret

I wrote this a little too quickly perhaps, but it seemed appropriate for entry in a "Sudden Fiction" contest for short stories under 1,000 words.

Inspired by the HBO series, Deadwood, I wrote about a third of an episode. These are just a few scenes that didn't have too many swear words. If you're interested in reading the whole manuscript, and swearing won't offend you, let me know and I'll email it to you.
