Now That I'm Gone
Now that I’m gone
I see the moments and the millennia
All at once, distinctly.
I see you, everyone, everything I love
And I am not afraid.
There is anxiety in living and dying
Worry about what is said and unsaid
Done and undone
The hardships
We suffer and cause.
I prayed for peace, and it came
Like a gentle breeze, lifting me up
My spirit is dispersing
To the wind, to the world
Infinite and eternal
Undying love.
